the events at the Pride in Bautzen last weekend also affected us deeply. We are shocked by the hatred and the attempts at intimidation that were spread by right-wing extremist protesters. At the same time, our fullest solidarity goes to all the people who were visible in Bautzen in favour of queer rights and diversity. You are brave and so are we!
We in Leipzig now also have to accept that counter-protests from the far-right spectrum are being called for here. But we will not be intimidated by this.
We vote for diversity!
We appeal to all people in Leipzig and beyond: support the queer community, let’s take to the streets together peacefully on Saturday for diversity, equality and democracy. Come to the rally at 11.30 am on Augustusplatz and then demonstrate with us from 1.00 pm!
