Conditions of participation and data protection for competitions

1. General information

The competition is in no way connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook or Instagram. The competition is organised in cooperation with the partners listed in the competition post.

2. Duration

Information on the duration of the competition can be found in the article on the respective competition.

3. Organiser

The competition is organised by CSD Leipzig e.V., Demmeringstraße 32, 04177 Leipzig.

4. Eligibility/participation route

All natural and legally competent persons over the age of 16 can take part.

Participation is by commenting on the competition entry. Multiple comments do not increase the chances of winning. The comment must not infringe the rights of third parties, otherwise it will be deleted and will not be included in the draw.

Legal recourse is excluded.

5. Draw

The winner will be drawn at random and publicly announced under the post with the profile name in the comments section. The winner expressly agrees to the public announcement.

6. Obligation to report

The winner must contact Leipzig Pride within two days of the end of the competition via Facebook/Instagram message using their personal Facebook/Instagram profile and claim the prize. Otherwise, the prize will be forfeited without substitution and a new winner will be chosen. The winner must provide their full name as shown on their ID in order to claim the prize and expressly agrees that their data will be transmitted to the respective cooperation partners.

7. Liability

Claims for damages against the organiser in connection with the competition are excluded – to the extent permitted by law – regardless of the legal grounds, unless the organiser has intentionally or grossly negligently violated legal obligations.

8. Data protection

The organiser of the competition guarantees the highest possible standard of data protection within the framework of the competition and observes all relevant legal provisions in this regard. Collected data will only be used for the competition and will be deleted one month after the end of the competition. The organiser will not pass on any personal data to third parties except to the cooperation partners for the purpose of redeeming the prize. The organiser will not sell any personal data. Express reference is made to the privacy policy of Leipzig Pride.

9. Cancellation/termination

The organiser reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. In particular, if the terms of use or guidelines of Facebook/Instagram are changed during the implementation and the implementation of the competition is no longer permitted according to the then valid provisions of Facebook/Instagram or if there are unauthorised interventions by third parties or if the proper implementation of the competition cannot be guaranteed due to mechanical, technical or legal problems.

10. Change/cash payment

A change or cash payment of the prize is excluded.
