In line with our motto at the time, “The future is queer!”, we have given our traditional drag contest for 2023 Pride an extensive update. We want to give this part of the queer community the stage it deserves: the Icon of CSD Leipzig Drag Contest!
You want to show yourself? The future of drag is in your hands! Apply now and become our Icon of CSD Leipzig 2024! Show us your art in a form of your choice! Simply fill out the form below. You can find more information about the contest in our call for entries.
As we all know: Drag is a fight, drag is a protest! If you take part, you should know the demands we are demonstrating for and be able to agree with them. You are also welcome to participate in the political process and let us know what you are demanding!

Application
Simply fill out the form below to apply as a participant in this year’s Icon of CSD Leipzig Drag Contest. Our contact persons will be happy to answer any questions you may have. After the application deadline, the booking team will contact you by email with all further information. Alternatively, you can simply send us your application by e-mail or via Instagram message.
In any case, please send us some information about yourself and your drag personality as well as photos and/or videos that will give us an idea of you and your art and tell us why you, of all people, should be the Icon of CSD Leipzig 2024!
