Break down barriers together with us!
We want to take a step in the right direction and make our Pride more accessible. To do this, we need volunteer assistants for people with disabilities to help them take part in the demonstration and the street festival.
The tasks include, for example, providing assistance with getting on and off the buses or using the wheelchair platform on Augustusplatz. Previous knowledge of and sensitivity to working with and living with people with disabilities are desirable.
As a thank you for your work during the demonstration or the street festival, you will receive a guest list place for the Pride Ball, the official closing party of the Leipzig Pride!
Registration
Simply fill in the form below and you will be registered as an assistant. You will receive further information by e-mail shortly.
Prerequisites/requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You need German language skills.
- You must be available on 17 August 2024 from approx. 11:30 am to approx. 4:00 pm and/or from 4:00 pm to approx. 8:00 pm.
- You may not consume alcohol or drugs before or during the demonstration or street festival.
